Land use bylaw amendment signage notification

Prior to the public hearing the applicant must display a visible sign to notify public (approximate sign cost is $400 to $700, not including installation).

Sign(s) to contain the following information:

• Contact phone numbers for further information, including the applicant/developer’s name and phone number and the City of Airdrie Planning department.
• City of Airdrie logos, font recommendations and colours can be accessed by contacting the Communications department at corporate.communications@airdrie.ca. All logo use must be approved by the Corporate Communications team.
• All lettering on the sign shall be on a white background.

Sign(s) to be:

• Erected using planted posts (temporary installation).
• Erected 14 days prior to the first reading of the bylaw.
• Readable from a distance of 10 metres and erected in a prominent location on private property.
• Maintained in good condition until a public hearing is completed or the application is withdrawn.
• Removed within 7 days of the completion of the public hearing.
