Reserve a park fire pit
There are several communal fire pits located in city parks throughout Airdrie, thanks to contributions from local businesses and scouts groups. Fire pits are available by reservation. Organizers are responsible for supplying their own firewood and water to extinguish the fire and must remove the debris left behind in and around the fire pit.
- Discovery Park: located at 101 Coopers Crescent SW
- East Lake Regional Park: located off East Lake Road by the sports field
- Nose Creek Regional Park: located at the NW end of the playground
Fire pits remain locked unless they have been booked. Once a booking is confirmed, instructions on how to access the locks will be provided.
Park barbecues
Small, open-grate, picnic-style barbecues are located in Bowen Park (Reunion GW & Reunion Blvd) and are available for residents to enjoy on a first-come basis. Users are responsible for supplying their own firewood and water to extinguish the fire and must remove the debris left behind in and around the fire pit.
