Airdrie isn’t just where I live, its home. Its where my daughters are growing up, and where I’ve built a life rooted in service, accountability, and heart. I’m not a career politician. I’m a father, a former first responder with frontline experience in fire services and corrections, and someone who has spent a lifetime stepping up in high-pressure situations, including as a trained hostage/crisis negotiator, where failure was not an option.
I have spent over 15 years in public safety. Today, I teach Justice Studies at the post-secondary level, advocate for mental health across Alberta, and speak publicly about leadership, resilience, and breaking cycles. I hold a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Royal Military College, which means I bring not just lived experience but a strong understanding of how policy, leadership, and governance actually work.
I support youth through mentorship roles that emphasize discipline and civic responsibility. I established the Airdrie-based, Alberta-wide chapter of one of the world’s largest peer support networks and currently chair the Airdrie Police Committee, because I care deeply about community safety, public trust, and responsible governance.
I’m running because I want my daughters and all our kids to grow up in a city that’s safe and compassionate. I want Airdrie to be a place where families thrive and voices are heard. If you’re looking for someone who doesn’t just talk, I’m here to serve.
For my family. For yours. For Airdrie.
