Airdrie is embracing a bold new chapter in cultural tourism, inviting residents and visitors to explore a vibrant mix of arts, entertainment and culinary experiences throughout the winter months. From November through March, the City offers a rich calendar of events and destinations that showcase the true Art of Winter - a celebration of stories, flavours and connection.

BGC Airdrie Club Holiday Markets

LOCAL SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS

Airdrie shines bright this holiday season with magical lights, music and community cheer!

Airdrie Festival of Lights
Western Canada’s largest free outdoor walk-through light display runs nightly from Dec 1–31, 6–9 PM at Nose Creek Park.

Enjoy miniature train rides, fire pits, hot chocolate, skating and visits with Santa. Special events include Emergency Services Night and a Family Skating Party on Dec 31.

CPKC Holiday Train
The festive train rolls into Nose Creek Park on Dec 9, featuring free live performances by Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse from 5:30–6:00 PM. Bring non-perishable food donations to support the Airdrie Food Bank. Complimentary shuttles run from City Hall.
