Moving pieces: How Modern Dimensions planned for success in Gateway

Tucked along the northern edge of the city in the Gateway business area is one of Airdrie’s newest developments – which, like many projects in the fastest growing city in Alberta – may have appeared to pop up overnight.

Located north of Canadian Tire, 521 Gateway features 15 units, totalling around 34,000 square feet of store-front and commercial storage space. Adding a pop of architectural intrigue to the business district, the sleek contemporary design and convenient location quickly attracted a full list of tenants. But behind the expertly panelled façade, is a company equipped to navigate the many moving pieces of the development process.

Working with the developer, Modern Dimensions executed each stage of the planning, design approval and construction process of 521 Gateway, including completing market assessment and occupancy support. Their cooperative approach helped to ensure the project’s success, securing new business investment in Airdrie and employment opportunities for residents.

“There are amazing opportunities for developers and investors in Airdrie and we’re looking forward to working with them and City of Airdrie on future projects,” said Marko Pribilovic, Chief Operations Officer, Modern Dimensions.
