Proposed Amendment to the Land Use Bylaw

This public hearing is for any affected Airdrie resident to discuss an amendment to the Land Use Bylaw affecting lands legally described as Portion of SW ¼ Section 34, Township 26, Range 29, W4M. The proposed amendment will redistrict the west portion of subject lands from R1-L, Narrow Lot Laned Residential District to R1-L0, Laned Zero Lot Line Residential District and the east portion of the subject lands from UH, Urban Holdings District to R1, Single Detached Residential District; R2, Low Density Residential District; R1-U, Urban Standard Residential District; R1-L0, Laned Zero Lot Line Residential District; R2-T, Townhouse Residential District, and P-1, Public Open Space District. The amendment area comprises 25.90 hectares (64.00 acres) within the Lanark Stage 1 Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP) area.
