The West Hills CASP is located in the west part of Airdrie and comprises three quarter sections bordered by 24th Street to the East and Yankee Valley Boulevard to the south.

The proposed amendment bylaw (Bylaw No. B-47/2023) is to amend the West Hills CASP by adding three quarter sections ±477 acres (193 hectares) to the west and an approximately 99 acre (40 hectare) triangular parcel to the north of the current plan area for a total of ± 233 hectares (576 acres). The subject lands are described as a portion of the NE 10-27-1-W5M / 271181 24 ST NW (±40.082 hectares/99.07 acres); the SW 10-27-1-W5M / 271136 RGE RD 13 SW (±64.28 hectares/158.97 acres); the NW 3 27-1-W5M / 270250 RGE RD 13 SW (±64.28 hectares/158.97 acres) and the SW 3 27-1-W5M / 270121 BIG HILL SPRINGS RD SW (±64.70 hectares/159.89 acres).

This public hearing is for any affected Airdrie resident to comment on proposed Bylaw No. B-47/2023 being a bylaw to amend the West Hills Community Area Structure Plan.
