Policing Town Hall to be held March 27, at City Hall

Media Advisory - March 26, 2024/For Immediate Release 

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA - Airdrie RCMP and Municipal Enforcement are hosting a Policing Town Hall tomorrow, Wednesday, March 27, at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. We welcome media to attend in person or to watch the meeting live online.

The RCMP and Municipal Enforcement will provide an update to the community on policing priorities in Airdrie and the public will have the opportunity to share feedback and ask questions on safety in our city.

Questions can be submitted ahead of time and throughout the evening to Police.townhall@airdrie.ca. The public will also have a chance to ask questions in person during the event.

The focus of the forum is to discuss issues specific to safety and policing in Airdrie. Topics that fall under provincial and federal jurisdictions will not be addressed.

The information gathered through this forum will be utilized by the RCMP and Municipal Enforcement in identifying policing priorities for 2024 - 2025.
