How’s business? We want to hear from you!

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA – The City of Airdrie is conducting its Business Survey and encourages local businesses to respond online.

Airdrie’s locally-based, licensed businesses are invited to participate. The survey takes less than 20 minutes to complete and is intended for the business owner, primary manager, CEO/president or vice president. The web-based survey, conducted by MDB Insights, will be sent via email on April 4 to contacts provided through the City’s business licensing system. Businesses are encouraged to respond online, as it’s the most cost-effective way to collect the data. Some businesses may be surveyed by telephone if necessary.

"The survey will ask questions on many topics related to the economy, business operating environment and issues, challenges and opportunities for businesses in Airdrie. We utilize the survey data to understand the business climate in Airdrie. From there the information helps guide the development of the City's programs and service offerings," says Tara Levick, Economic Development Officer, Airdrie Economic Development.

As an incentive, businesses that complete the survey will be entered into a draw to win a business profile in the WORKlife section of the fall 2022 airdrielife magazine. This profile is valued at $3400 (conditions apply).

Survey results will be compiled and presented to City Council, administration and the business community this spring. All responses are confidential, and results will be aggregated.

If a business has questions about the survey or has not received the survey via their business email address, please call Airdrie Economic Development at 403.948.8844. Learn more at airdrie.ca/business
