Urgent Care Centre access during the Canada Day Parade

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA – On Friday, July 1, 2022, at 10 a.m. the Canada Day Parade will take place on Main Street. 

Alberta Health Services (AHS) Urgent Care Centre at 604 Main St. SE will remain open with access via alternate routes starting at 7 a.m.

Access to Urgent Care during the parade road closure

Friday, July 1, 2022
7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • Albert St NE and 1 Ave NE
  • Allen Street and Centre Ave E to Albert St NE
Please note: these alternate routes will access the facility parking lot from the alley at the back of the building.

If you have an emergency, please call 911.

Some additional road or lane closures in the area may begin as early as the evening of June 30, but will not impede access to Urgent Care.

On July 1, residents are encouraged to walk or carpool to the parade as there will be limited parking in the area. The Urgent Care parking lot is strictly for Urgent Care patients and staff members.

Fireworks begin at 10:45 p.m. or dusk (whichever comes first) at Chinook Winds Park.
