Airdrie is moving forward in full swing for the start of the holiday season with a weekend filled with many activities and events hosted by community, and inviting you to come together as we celebrate the magic of the holidays.

There are over 50 local items to bid on to raise funds for community! Auction bidding starts on Friday, December 6th and closes on Sunday, December 8th with auction details found on the Airdrie Puppy Pals website.

Moonlight Madness Holiday Extravaganza

Santa Claus Parade

Main Street, Downtown Airdrie

Hosted by Airdrie Parades

Visit the parade by bringing main street alive with the spirit of the season, showcasing vibrant floats and enjoying the festive atmosphere. With the procession of twinkling lights and holiday music, the night is illuminated by holiday magic, bringing together the community to celebrate the holidays.

Stick around after the parade for some additional holiday fun taking place out front of Airdrie’s City Hall building; put on by the non-profit organization, Airdrie Parades

Road closures will start at Veteran’s Blvd. and end at Ridgegate Way from 4:30-6 p.m. The Alberta Health Services (AHS) Urgent Care Centre at 604 Main St. SE will remain open during this time. Road closure barricades will be manned by Emergency Responders to escort individuals to Airdrie’s Urgent Care Centre. If you have an emergency, please call 911.

Countdown to Santa! Hosted by downtown businesses

Join us for the Countdown to Santa, hosted by our amazing downtown businesses and enjoy family-friendly fun, treats and activities that will light up your holiday spirit.

Starting at 3:00 p.m., head downtown to experience all the fun and make downtown your destination for holiday cheer. Let’s countdown to the magic together.

Airdrie Festival of Lights – Santa’s Here!

Nose Creek Regional Park

Check out The Airdrie Festival of Lights for the Society’s 29th year of dazzling outdoor light displays. Attendees can stroll through the beautifully decorated park, grab a hot chocolate, ride the train, and just maybe, catch the big guy in a red suit!
