Candidate profile: Kurt Bigoraj

My name is Kurt Bigoraj, and I’m running for Airdrie City Council because I believe in the power of community-driven leadership. I have been a resident of Airdrie for 18 years and I’ve seen the challenges we face, but I’ve also witnessed the strength and resilience that defines us. I’m proud of our city, but I know we can do better, and I’m committed to working alongside you to make that happen.

I’m running to address the issues that matter most to you all, such as:
• Efficient traffic flow,
• obtaining a 24-hour urgent care facility,
• a new multi-sport complex,
• lower residential taxes,
• addressing city spending,
• and creating opportunities for local businesses.

But I’m also focused on building a city that’s equitable, sustainable, and responsive to the changing needs of all our residents. As your representative, I will prioritize transparency, open communication, and action. I won’t just listen to your concerns, I’ll take them to heart and fight for practical solutions that benefit everyone, not just a select few.

Our community deserves leaders who are approachable, accountable, and willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done. Together, we can create an Airdrie where everyone has a voice, a place, and a chance to thrive. I’m asking for your vote because I believe in what we can achieve when we come together.
