I’ve called Airdrie home since 1978, watching it grow from a town of 2,500 to a thriving city of nearly 91,000. With 15 years of Council experience and decades of community involvement, I remain committed to a steady, common-sense approach to managing growth and ensuring Airdrie remains one of the best places to live, work, and raise a family.
My wife Cheryl and I raised six children and now enjoy seventeen grandchildren. Our family has inspired years of service with groups like the Airdrie Boys and Girls Club, Junior Forest Rangers, Airdrie Family Services, and Girl Guides, where Cheryl led for 17 years. I’m also proud to support local causes through 100 Men Who Give a Damn.
Professionally, I manage Tiger Propane, a locally owned family business, and previously worked at Home Hardware and Totem Building Centre, where many knew me as the “helpful handyman”. I believe in listening first and making fair decisions for the good of our entire community. Outside of Council, I’m a licensed pilot of 37 years, a certified PADI rescue diver, and an eight-time ATB Chicken Wing Eating Champion, raising funds for Airdrie charities.
With experience, integrity, and a deep love for this city, I am ready to continue serving Airdrie’s future.
