The City is proud to partner in funding initiatives that empower youth and strengthen community engagement.
The ABYA offers grants up to $1000 for youth aged 12 to 18 to apply for. These grants support great ideas that will benefit young people in our community. Eligible applicants can include partnerships with informal grassroots groups, non-profit societies, registered charities and schools, but the project must be youth-led.
Funding is available for established not-for-profit organizations that provide evidence-based preventive social service programs and initiatives that are supporting young people aged 12 to 24 in Airdrie that want to make a difference in their community. Applicants must be eligible under the Family and Community Support Services Act and Regulation.
