For immediate release

Airdrie, AB – The City of Airdrie is calling on young innovators, leaders and changemakers to bring forward their ideas to strengthen the Airdrie community. Airdrie Youth Grants are now open for applications, offering local youth aged 12 to 18 the opportunity to secure up to $1000 to launch projects that directly benefit young people in Airdrie.

“We know Airdrie youth are creative, passionate and community-minded,” says Jessica Dudek, youth engagement liaison. “This grant gives them the chance to turn their ideas into action. When young people lead the way, they create meaningful change—not just for themselves, but for the entire community.”

The grant program supports youth-led initiatives that are:

  • Located in Airdrie
  • Designed to directly benefit Airdrie youth
  • Planned and implemented by youth ages 12 to 18 (with some adult support permitted)

Application details can be found at airdrie.ca/youthgrant. All applications will be reviewed by the Airdrie Board of Youth Affairs (ABYA), and applicants will be notified of results within one month of application deadline.

“This is a chance for youth to make a real impact,” adds Jessica Dudek. “If you’ve ever had an idea you wished you could bring to life—this is your moment.”
