Electronics and hazardous waste collection events

Although residents can drop off these items at the depot year-round, the City also hosts several events throughout the year to collect household hazardous waste and electronics.

2026 event details will be posted when scheduled.

Accepted material during these events include:

• Paint
• Oil, oil jugs and oil filters
• Clearly labelled household chemicals (such as bleach or cleaning supplies) in sealed containers under 20 L
• Aerosol cans (full or empty)
• Electronics, including audio-visual equipment, phones and wireless devices, gaming systems, small home appliances, lawn and garden tools (no gas), portable power tools, toys, and more. View full list of accepted electronics.
