Materials the Recycle Depot accepts
The Airdrie Recycle Depot accepts a wide range of recyclables, from cardboard and plastics to electronics and household hazardous materials. We also go beyond recycling by promoting reuse, which is a key step in the waste hierarchy to reduce landfill waste and conserve resources by giving items a second life and keep valuable materials in circulation.
- Book Barn: take or donate books year-round.
- Textiles: drop off gently used clothing for recycling or redistribution.
- Used bikes: we accept donated bikes and sell them for a nominal fee from May through September. Learn more about bike sales.
