 Airdrie, AB – On Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, the annual airdrieFEST street festival will close Main Street between Lutheran Church of the Master and just south of ATB Financial from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Southbound vehicles can access the Alberta Health Services Urgent Care Centre at 604 Main St. SE from Albert St. SE via Centre Ave. E. Detour signage will be in place. Northbound vehicles can access the Urgent Care Centre as usual.

An overnight parking ban will apply from 11 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2026, to 6 p.m. on Sept. 12, 2026, in the City Hall and AMSQ parking lots and parts of the Towerlane Mall parking lot. Overnight parking will not be available in the TD Bank parking lot or in the storefront parking area from Main Street BBQ to City Centre Animal Hospital and Dollarama.

This year’s airdrieFEST begins at 11 a.m. with speeches and a short ceremony on the main stage and runs until 4 p.m. The event will feature local vendors, artists, artisans, live entertainment, children’s activities and food trucks along Main Street near City Hall and Inspire, with additional vendors and entertainment in the Towerlane Mall parking lot. New for 2026, Inspire will also host an Artwalk as part of the event.

A free Airdrie Transit event shuttle will operate from select parking locations. On-site parking will not be available, except for limited accessible parking at Inspire. Attendees are encouraged to bike, walk, use e-scooters or rideshare to the event.
